Can you live without Amazon Prime, because I sure can’t. Well, I’m sure I can but it would be difficult to adjust to it living without it again.
Prime Day 2019 has arrived, and you are searching and searching for the best deals on everything on your wish list. I want to remind you to take a break from planning your wedding or even just the every day schedule to make sure you plan a date night! Below are some things that I would throw in my cart to purchase for 3 date night ideas at home while they are on sale with Prime Day!
I am pretty competitive so on some date nights, my husband and I like to stay in and go head-to-head in vintage board games. We mostly buy board games from antique shops, but on occasion like to mix it up with newer games and conversation starters. Our Moments has 100’s of conversation starters so is fun to maybe even learn something new about your partner. Battleship and Life? Those are to kick their butt. Game on!
Of all things that I am still trying to learn to do as an adult it is cook. Christopher and I love to watch cooking shows, especially anything with Gordon Ramsey. We are also huge lovers of pizza and ice cream so this date night idea includes the ability to make amazing pizza and ice cream all by yourself…unless you’re like me and are googling what you are supposed to be doing every three steps. I included the spatulas because I have a weird obsession with buying cute kitchen things, and also threw in the Game of Thrones apron, because I just finished the entire series (I know…I’m late the the game HA).
If there is one thing my friends know me for, it is movie knowledge, so of COURSE I couldn’t complete this list without throwing in a movie night. 80’s and 90’s movies that are cult classics are my favorites; Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead, To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar, She-Devil, or Troop Beverly Hills? I got you. This movie night would be complete with a marquee, cute bowls for popcorn and of course a comfy blanket to snuggle under. Hit play, turn on the subtitles, turn on the twinkle lights and settle in!
