On the Banks | Stonewall Farms Winter Wedding
After a brief peek of spring, we are back under the snow here in Sioux Falls. That made me drift back in my thoughts to this gorgeous styled shoot we did at Stonewall Farms in Willmar, MN. I know what you’re thinking…wait, didn’t we already see this? No! Because we worked like gangbusters and pulled off TWO styled shoots at the same time! I owe it all to the amazing vendors I worked with.
Our overall inspiration for this shoot was frosty silvers and dusty blues, with a vintage, rustic chic vibe.
Platinum Imagination did an amazing vintage-inspired hairstyled ala Brigitte Bardot, leaving Vanessa look classic and timeless as well as slightly pulling a Taylor Swift vibe. We pushed the boundaries and Vanessa was able to rock ice blue shadow! PI also did our bridesmaids hair into a classic twist and with her crazy awesome curls, it gave it a fun vibe!
Simply Devine Weddings & Events perfected the table set up, drawing inspiration from the water and frost on the banks of the lake at Stonewall Farms. There are a few rustic touches, with some antlers and older chairs, but they are equally matched with vintage classic touches. I mean who else would see a tea set and think that would be a great centerpiece with floral? AMAZING!
Confetti Creative Co. did an amazing frosted and classic invitation look for us, and the cake provided by Taylor’d Cakes was simplistic and absolutely gorgeous!
We topped of the shoot with adding a vintage-inspired tux to the mix from Tip Top Tux – Sioux Falls. Nick had a fun personality so we knew that he could pull off a checkered coat and bowtie with no problem; we were so right!
